Meeting Times: Hicks Youth Group meets Sunday nights from 5:30-7:00pm during the school year.

We provide a place for students, grades 7-12, to come together, learn, and grow in their faith. HYF offers a safe environment for students to have fun and be themselves. Throughout the year HYF gives students opportunities to serve God by serving their community, their church, and their world. Several events include raising money to fight world hunger, painting houses, and helping others in the community. There are also several opportunities for students to grow in their faith through worship, musical events, and retreats.
Hicks Church Children's Ministry
We want our children to learn how much God loves them and how to have a personal relationship with Christ. We provide an environment that is inviting and age appropriate, and that allows kids to have fun while learning more about God.
Our staffed Infant Nursery is available at our two Worship services: Our nursery is fully staffed and is happy to take care of your babies and toddlers, ages 6 months-3 years old, during our 8:00am and 10:00am services.
Spiritual transformation happens when kids come to know Jesus, rather than just know about Jesus. Our job is to prepare the soil of kids’ hearts so seeds of faith can grow, and a true relationship with Jesus can happen.

Preschool/Kindergarten Children's Church Class: Preschool and Kindergarten aged children learn best through play and hands-on encounters. Our classroom leaders guide children through a Bible story each Sunday using games, crafts, dramatic play, songs and more. Each weekly Bible lesson features an engaging, age-appropriate Bible story that’ll help kids develop a love for God’s Word and experience God’s love for them

1st Grade Children's Church Class: Our first graders explore weekly Bible Points and discover why the Bible matters in their everyday lives. The class reinforces Bible lessons with handouts, crafts, and visual aids. The class goal is to see the kids learn a basic knowledge of the Bible that will serve as a foundation to build upon in the future.

2nd Grade Children’s Church Class: Our second graders experience a Bible story, spend time with Jesus, and build stronger friendships. Each weekly Bible lesson directly engages kids with God’s Word in fun and unforgettable ways. Not only will they hear a Bible story, they’ll experience it through Scripture reading, Bible Memory Buddy videos, and open-ended discussion questions that will help your kids build relationships, not just recite facts.

3rd-6th Grade Children's Church Class: Our 3rd-6th graders use dynamic curriculum to teach weekly bible lessons in a “hip” manner that is more enticing to older kids than traditional formats. Students and teachers work together to find the answers to faith questions by exploring the Bible together and engaging in classroom discussions. Our curriculum provides multisensory teaching that immerses your kids in deep Bible learning, helping them to know Jesus personally and grow in relationship with him.
Family Worship Sundays

Family Worship Sundays are offered the first Sunday of each month during our 10:00am service. Family Worship provides an opportunity for all members of the family to hear the same message, participate in the same activities, and worship together. Our regular Sunday School and Children’s Church classes are not available.
