Our Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry is a huge priority for our church and has been a key piece to our ministry for many years. We provide several opportunities for students grades 7-12 to come together, learn, and grow in their faith. HYF offers a safe environment to have fun and be themselves.
Throughout the year HYF gives students opportunities to server God by serving their community, church, and world. Students will have several chances throughout the year to grow their faith through worship, musical events, missions work, and retreat/summer camp.
Sunday School
Sunday School gives youth a chance to really dig into their bibles and learn a lot of critical teachings that will serve as a foundation for them throughout their lives. It is during this time that kids will really learn who Jesus is, his expectations for his people to live a Christian life, and how to navigate their bibles.
We meet during the 9:45 AM service on the 2nd floor of the church house (above the Wesley Sunday School room). Sunday School will be held on the 2nd-4th Sunday of each month including the summer months.
Youth Group
Our Youth Group meetings occur most Sunday nights throughout the school year from 5:30 PM-7 PM at the church. All youth in grades 7-12 are invited to attend.
Youth Group is broken down into fun games, and age related topics for the youth to wrestle with to gain a deeper understanding.
One of the main ideas of youth group is to explore with teenagers how Jesus’s teachings are relevant to what they are currently experiencing in their lives.
We always meet as a full group at the beginning of our time together and then will break out into Jr/Sr high groups for age specific teachings.

If you are going on any retreats or outing events with the Youth Group, we ask that you fill out the below medical form prior to the event. This information is kept confidential and will only be shared with our Youth Director so that we can best care for your child.
